A windy day at Troopers Hill

A sunny day with blue sky and clouds. A large brick chimney is on the left of the image. It is looming over a queue of people. They are waiting to enter a large mirrored box which you can see on the right of the photo. In the foreground is parched grass.

What a fantastic day! Despite the blustery wind at the top 160 people stepped inside the Mirrorbox on Troopers Hill to hear Lizzyโ€™s beautiful message for a place she loves so much. I Would Be Here If I Could volunteer, Amber, shares her experience of the day…

โ€œMany people arrived with purpose, but some just stumbled upon us and asked questions with curiosity about the mysterious box atop the hill.  It was really interesting to watch their interactions and it felt special to be able to share more information about the project with them.

Being inside the box with Lizzy’s words was enveloping. The sound and the feel of the wind was replaced by Lizzy’s story. I read the transcript as she spoke. It was a powerful experience.โ€

โ€œPerhaps the highest number of wheelchair users in a single day visited the top of Troopers Hill today because of this project.โ€
