Today as I look out of the window from my bed I can see that it is a beautiful crisp autumn day and if I could, I would love to do a coastal walk from Ogmore to Southerndown and back.
Looking out across the sea with the cold wind on my face, to have the energy to go up and down the inclines and the peace and the tranquility all around, the sun on my face. To have my husband by my side and to maybe even have persuaded the teenagers to join us. But I know at once that they miss the old me too and would jump at the opportunity of having old mum back. Two years now they have been living with this zombie version.
So look out and enjoy the blue sky for me and my family.
