Near the beginning of lockdown I went for a walk in some local woods just outside Bristol. The weather was beautiful, a warm spring afternoon, the gentle breeze through the trees along the hillside.
The sunlight was sprinkled across the bluebells down the slope of the valley. All you could hear was birdsong and the very gentle movement of the leaves in the trees. Not a single car or a plane or any evidence of human presence. Just blissful peace and tranquility.
People talk about connection, but I really did feel like I was plugged into this amazing natural energy around me. It was exciting and it was beautiful.
