A light blue coloured bridge with "Camden Lock" painted on it in big yellow writing with red outline and a green background. There are loads of people walking under the bridge on the roads and pavements. There are shops and trees in the background and the sky is blue with no clouds.

Camden Town, London

I was quite a happy student and felt really privileged to spend my year abroad at King’s College London. In my free time I was always going to check out Camden Market because on one hand there was cheap food for students (in the food stalls there) on the other hand I was really into subculture and the various goodies and items that you could get there and I liked to meet friends in the pub afterwards.

This was something that I couldn’t have in my hometown. There was this kind of subcultural scene but not as big as in London. It reminds me of a truly easy, joyful time when I was checking out outfits for parties at the market, creatively expressing who I wanted to be and that had a big influence on my life.

Thinking back of that place now, I’m mostly reminded how easy life was. I’m now 100% bed bound and my wish for everyone to hear this message is that, I hope that you constantly enjoy life because it can be different very very quickly.

Thank you so much for listening to that. Maybe somebody likes that place too. Obviously you may if the box is there at the moment and I wish you a good day.
